Hi SOG Fans,

Just thought I'd introduce you to SOG fan. He is widely referred to as Drake. He is an ex-Marine explosives expert, a current police officer and SWAT member, a SWAT trainer, a traveling SWAT trainer/expert, a successful “extreme fighter,” and a really scary-looking guy (if you’re not law abiding).

Here he is:

Also being a SOG dealer (and major SOG enthusiast), he was more than happy to do a photo shoot in an assortment of gear (with SOG's). Here's a link to a directory of more pictures.

He’s one of the “Good Guys,” so count your blessings! :)

Awesome pictures. Thanks to Drake and Ron. As an aside, he's at the top of the list of "People I don't want to get hit by."

Sweet JeeezZZ...

No offence to Officer "Drake"! But Ron, why does he even need a knife??? A man his built requires something the likes of Thor's Hammer. I hope SOG Knives would consider building Drake a folder equivalent to his stature. A folding Tigershark perhaps? And "Drake", if you're reading this thanks making this world a much safer place. Is that selector switch on "full-auto"?

Most of the time, he likely doesn't need a knife, handgun or assault rifle. But a true weapons fanatic will always have on them one, two, three (or even twelve) weapons. ;)

He went to a trade show with our former Marketing Director (a woman) and had to walk through a very scary looking neighborhood. She said that walking down the street with him made her feel more safe than any other time in her life!

“Thor’s Hammer,” huh? I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t already have one. :)

BTW, can you find all the SOG products in the various pictures. By my evaluation, I see an X-42 Recondo, Mini Pentagon, Pentagon Elite, PowerPlier, and CrossCut.

Ron, better have him get to a medic pronto, his arms are all swollen up!
Way too much!
Better go work out now...thanks for the incentive!

ps

I was wondering that also. Next time I see him, I'll ask. The only thing I could think of was to minimize movement of the sheath during drawing the knife. A smooth draw is very handy in critical conditions. If it's anything different, I'll post a reply.

He is very big and imposing. But to put him in perspective, he's relatively short (I'd guess 5'8" or 5'9"). That makes him all the wider! :) He has some really impressive scars.

Ron,

Did you say only 5' 9"? Why, this is even more astounding! I could have never imagine that, viewing from those "larger than life" pictures. Still, I am more than impressed with what this fine picture of manhood has done to enhance his overall physique. Spectacular! Magnificent! Incredible!!

Things being the way they are these days, it wouldn't be too bad an idea for Officer "Drake" to produce a series of full sized pop-out poster of himself in full gear, for use at every doorway, subway and highway! The very silhouette of "The Man" is enough to send would be perpetrators back to mama.

Boys and Girls of America, would you please welcome the first of America's latest 21st Century Super Hero's (Best part of it, he's for real!) - "Faster than a speeding fiend! Able to lead others out of harms way! It's alert! It's a saint! No its SWATMAN!!!! Together with his dependable SOG equipment, he keeps the cities clean, the world free and Ron one very happy man!"
