After I finished up the slim short sword a couple fellows mentioned I ought to make it a set. I just finished up the smaller dagger blade. Now the smaller dagger isn't that small. The blade is just under 6" and 10 1/2" overall. Both piece were made with the exact same material, 1084, iron, and ebony. Both blades were hand forged and left with the forge finish.

your forging skill is amazing to me Ray.

You should see the man in action.

Ray, those are awesome. Like something out of mythology.

Who needs a grinder when you can forge like that. I'd save a ton of cash on belts if I could forge anywhere close to that. Nicely done Raymond.

Thanks for sharing, awesome set, Ray !
Love the ebony.

Ray - that set kicks a$$. Really well done. I strongly recommend you have the pair professionally shot.

Awesome set Ray. They are both exceptionally nice but together EVEN more impressive!

Thanks for posting them,
Peter

Well Ray, this may be my favorite thing you've done, which would be saying a lot! I think you need to send them to me so I can compare them side by side with your other knives in my collection :D

Incredible work my friend. Im glad you left them forge finished, it definitely shows off your skill with the hammer.

That set is simply stunning, and the ebony handles are icing on the cake. Very well done.
