I made a sharp finger out of 1080 and burmese rosewood. I made a plastic sheath to go along with it too. It's about 9" long and hand sanded to 2000 grit.

you said a sharp finger I thought you had done like me and cramed your finger in the disc sander with 60grit paper on it. my finger was a bit more pointy for a while.

nice looking knife tho pretty handle wood.

thank you and lol i've definitely got my finger caught on a disk sander too. except my finger was more flat on top a stayed that way for a good while.

Nice job on the knife, that is some nice wood. The sheath though, nice rosewood like that needs to be wrapped in some leather imo

Thank goodness this is a knife. I half expected to see a picture of a bleeding finger "sharpened" on a grinder.

You guys are silly! :)

Nice SF. I'd have chosen a different position for the pins, but it's a very attractive knife. Got any pics showcasing the blade a bit more? I always take one like the one posted, but try to take one with the point of the blade nearest the camera as well.

How many knives have you made?
