I have to laugh a little bit when I think of how I use to feel when it came time to making sheaths. Normally it wasn't just one sheath but more like 10 or 12 I had to do. And do them I did and that was it. Now I find myself building a knife and the sheath is involved with the plan.

Here's my latest. This one has a 5" O-1 blade, iron fittings, with a curly maple handle. 9 1/2" overall.

That's a great looking knife! I like the sheath too, although I can't recall seeing anything quite like it.

I like you, Ray. You're a good man and it shows through clearly in the work you do.

Knife and sheath make for a very nice combo - well done Ray. I'm digging the spearhead, too.

Thats a great package Ray, I like everything about both the knife and the sheath. If you hadn't quoted the length I would have never throught it was that big. I'm glad your liking that sheath work, if you want, I'll send you all my sheath work from now on. :D

Ray that is gorgeous! Every time I see one of your threads it gives me a spark of enthusiasm since there is always something fresh in it.

I love it Ray, especially the aggressive clip. The sheath is super cool too. As always, great work.

What do you have going with that spearhead???

COOL package Ray. The shape of the blade is awesome, and the texture on the sheath is unique and looks great with the knife.

Ray,
I love the knife. It reminds me of a mini-bowie. The sheath is awesome too. The large, squarish imprints on all sides has a really cool look to it and it reminds me of something I can't quite place but I really like it. Great job. This is a really cool combo!

I really like the blade profile and the handle looks nice and comfy too. That spear head is quite the display of hammer control. Lookin forward to seeing you at the OKCA show.

Eli, The spearhead in the photo is covering up some dye spots on the background that's why it is in the photo. I made it thinking I was going to make another club but never got around to it.

Great looking piece. Really like the stain on the handle and the sculptured sheath...
