I managed to snag one of these rarities from Allen a while back and I am always blown away by the craftsmanship whenever I get a chance to use it. That and it's just plain fun. I had a similar-sized Fiddleback that I had picked up that had an awesome baldric rig and I got to thinking...this Great White Buffalo needs something just as epic.

I contacted Rick Lowe, who had done the sheath and rig for my Bishop. He said he would be able to make one, but that the template he had for the GW Buffalo was a little old and it would be better if I could send my knife up his way. Knowing Rick's reputation and being that I was already in possession of a fine example of his handiwork, I knew I was in good hands. I packed up the blade and sent it on an adventure. For those that haven't had the opportunity, Rick is truly a pleasure to work with. He and I hammered out the details of what I wanted out of the new baldric rig and he went to it. The result was an amazing piece of work. The hardware is sturdy, but easy to use. The leather is perfectly fitted to the knife, tough, and finished with the kind of detail that almost makes you feel guilty for using it. I've only had the sheath back for a short while, but I feel like it'll stand the test of time.

Thank you Allen for producing such a fine blade and thank you Rick for creating an awesome sheath to carry it in.

This is probably the nicest set up of knife and sheath I've seen. Beautiful craftsmanship in all of its parts. Awesome.
