A....SHIRT POCKET..... tactical

Gently pop it off through the toothpick hole. Sometimes it helps to assist with a sharp blade at the edge of the scale once you get it started with the prying. It is easy.

What a great idea! Ive Got the day off 2moro, so thats my project for Monday. With a bit of modification & a stronger, "fancier" clip you could possibly make a Tactical Tie-clip SAK, too.

I did something similar using a paperclip for an 84 mm SAK, but I much prefer what you did with an old pen clip. My mod can be found here.

Nice work on what you did. It's pretty cool

Dremel. Small straight square grind wheel. Slow hardening extra strength epoxy from Ace.

The hard part is finding a suitable clip. THEN having to tear the thing out of the indestructible plastic cap. No shortage of PEN durability.

:D

the link to the knife resource that houdini put up, there seems to be a problem http://www.swiss-knife.com/popups/V.W.PL.expl.EN.htm the final picture tells us that the handles are a one time use thing that after removed, they are unusable
is this true? cos you guys seem to have no problem with it. and secondly. when you snap them back, do they shift or are they a perfect fit
thanks in advance

Marcus, the scales can be used multiple times despite what the site says. It's really just a matter of removing the scales gently. The scales do not shift at all. I've removed them a variety of times and snapped them back on with no ill effects to the scales what so ever.
