Greetings All:

Just finished/sold this spec knife - I was struggling to call it a hunter and decided to call it a bowie due to the double guard. All comments welcome.

Merry Christmas to all,

TK

.250" W-2 stock
Differential HT to Rc 59-60
10" OAL
5 1/8" flat ground blade
Vivid hamon
Exhibition Grade stabilized Koa
Soldered guard
Coined copper/stainless spacers
Stainless furniture
8-10 oz Wickett and Craig RH leather sheath

That certainly looks handy. Very beautiful.

Bowie is not a protected knife term, so you can cartainly call it that. There is a wide proliferation of Bowies and that handguard certainly looks the part, as you mention.

TK, regardless of what you call it, it's really a fine example of your work. Beautiful wood and a really nice hamon!…….and the overall design ain't bad either.;) I'm just waiting for you to get REALLY interested in sheaths, because I know they will be just like your knives. Top Notch!
