On tuesday I decided to take a day off and visit my favorite lakes, which are located in the middle of the woods. It was a very cloudy and qiute cold day but it was really great to spend some time so close to nature.
I found more proofs that Spring is here.
The hike was not too long because my wife who was there with me is pregnant (7 month now :D). She was very brave - we walked a little bit more than 10 km. After the hike I prepared small fire with a little help from my Tank Buster. Great all around knife! It chops nice for it's lenght.
My wife used Scrapper 5LE to prepare kielbasa for roasting over the fire. Yummy! :D

Both these knives are great, but now all I can think of it the Boss Jack :D

Great photos

Tested my Tank Buster last Saturday with my wife as well.

I agree with what you said!!!

:)

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the model of the knife next to the Tank Buster?
I'm kinda new to Busse.

That is a Scrap Yard Scrapper 5 LE. Scrap Yard Knives is part of the Busse family. It is only one of two models from Scrap Yard Knives made with INFI.

Welcome to the addiction!

Thanks for the head's up.
Lemme guess...ya can't buy one of those now either, right? :D

That's correct. Though there have been quite a few on the secondary market lately. You could also look for a coated version of the Scrapper 5 made of SR101 and strip it yourself.

Only INFI for me, baby!
Ain't that what I'm supposed to say? :D

btw, what'd they sell for originally, and what are they going for now?

They originally sold for $189.95. I have seen them sell between 230-260 now.

Scrapper 5 is definately worth buying. It's a very light knife. I keep mine in one of the pockets of my jacket. It's so light I keep forgeting it's there. Yet it's a solid and very useful knife.
Thanks guys for all nice words. :)

Looks like the landscape is really coming alive. Great photographs. Nice perspective with the lens.
