A short stay at Blade Show 2010

My fiancé and I were on a trip to NY with a lay over in Atlanta. Our flight was early so we immediately ran over to our airline counter and asked them to put us on a later flight and fortunately they had one. We took a cab all the way from the airport to the Cobb Center with our carry on lugage. Upon arriving at the show we sprinted to the Busse/swamprat/scrapyard counter. We met Amy-O, Jerry, Eric, Garth, and the rest of the group. We went with the intentions to grab a quick knife or two, but after meeting everyone we stayed two hours at the counter. They were some of the greatest people. Well I ended up with a couple of knives, however the fiancé really scored with a sword. We had the greatest time and we are all ready planing a trip for next years show. While the steel they use is outstanding and the designs they have are awsome, it's the people behind them that make them the greatest knives. Thanks to everyone at the show.
 
True, they are great knives. But the Busse crew are fantastic people.
 
Great to meet you both and that grab by your fiance of that Gladius was one if the best Hog moves I've ever seen.

Awesome score sounds like you had a great time. Is your girlfriend going to carry that Gladius in her purse. :thumbup::D:D

Nice, Hot knife and girl in the same pic. Any woman willing to run over to a knife show, and spend a couple hours hanging is a keeper, being hot is icing on the cake m y man, icing on the cake.

First gun show I took my wife to.....she lasted maybe 15 minutes then wanted to go........15 minutes!

Also,I am happy for you that everything worked out that you could attend for a couple hours! That's pretty cool....
 
Thanks for the many compliments.
During the show Jerry threw some cards for the special offerings. My fiancé dissapointed she was unable to get any moved to the middle of the crowed during the last offering. When Jerry threw the card she made a leap with heals on that would rival most basketball players, but she was determined to get that sword. She absolutely loves it.
