I was ridin' around with my daughter today surveying the flood damage in the area, when my daughter snapped this pic, the river is supposed to be about 1800 feet away you can make the road out in the top middle, I'd say it stops.

Roadsign= road ends..LITERALLY!!!

that sucks!!! :(

Looks the same up here in NY in some places. Luckily I myelf live at an elevation of about 1800' so I don't have to worry much about it.

They're getting bad snow in the NW corner where my parents live. Crazy stuff. Great picture, love the sign. :)

Is it just me or has the weather for the past 2 years been kind of weird? I mean, all those hurricains, the snow, the rain, then last summer was really hot at the end... Just seems different to me.

The Delaware river here flooded, matching the flood we had in september from 'Ivan'. Bridges and roads closed ,people evacuated .sullivan Co NY and Pike Co PA declared emergency. I guess we're going to have another wet year !!!!

Friday it was nearly 80 here in the NC mountains... yesterday it snowed... today it was in the 60s.

It has been pretty bad near the Conowingo Dam in MD. Even if you have a monster truck, don't go through standing water, I've seen cars get dragged down the road. Not fun.

Ehhh, something you learn when you get to be my age, sonny: weather changes. :)

Even climate shifts.

Greater population density makes more targets for big storms.

Building on hillsides and near seasonally-increased water courses is asking for trouble. (See picture above.)
