As the title says, I've got a silly question...

Say, one has the most brilliant, never thought of, knife related idea (or, it might be the daftest, one does never know), design or innovation. How would one be able to approach Benchmade in order to try and pitch this idea? (One does need to emphasise that if such individual was asking this question in a forum, he neither has reputation nor credentials to approach them directly, and might even be hoping somebody from the company reading the forum might be willing to lend him an ear, or know someone who would.) Any suggestions are welcome.

TIA

I don't know, but if you've got a knife idea as cool as the axis lock, I bet a lot of knife companies would be willing to pay you so that they could use your idea

Legenda - maybe they would, but there are reasons I'd like to give a shot at Benchmade (not that it means it my idea is as cool as Axis lock)...

DollarB53 - maybe they have, but I haven't seen it... which gives me hope. ;)

Glocker199 - a good idea, but a) sends the message I don't trust people I'd try to deal with, b) even though bits and pieces of it would probably be patentable, idea/product as a whole wouldn't.
