OK, this is probably sacreligious to "true" becker fans, but take a look at these:

As someone who doesn't care a whit about camoflage, I think it spices up two extremely useful but bland knives.

I really like the way the BK9 on the top looks. If you don't mind sharing, how is the handle re-coloring done? Thanks.

The one on top does look cool. I just bead blasted my scales today, and it feels alot better. I wonder if dipping them in Rino liner would work?

Josh -- the handle isn't recolored -- he just switched the handles between the standard black and the desert camo version. I looks pretty sweet though. :D

D'OH!! :p I didn't think of that either. I wonder if BK&T would sell me 2 desert camo handles...

Yup, that's the secret, an otherwise daunting task reduced to five minutes with the aid of an electric screwdriver :D

They both do look better, though, don't they?

In my opinion, the tan handles on the black blade looks *really* good. The black handles on the satin blade less so, but still interesting.

Second time today you've given me good info, Folsom (your Buck blade suggestion elsewhere). I'm sitting here with a BK9 in black and a BK7 in desert (it was cheaper that way) and wondering why I never thought of it.

Here's a suggestion for you guys... do a little handle trading among yourselves.

Phil

I've noticed that the all black models look good in the desert sand sheaths as well. :)

Have fun with it I say.

That Crewman now looks a lot like an old Becker Campanion. Remember the grey 'paint' and the Eagle sheaths?

The Desert handles really makes one think about various wood slabs...
