A simple pork rinds question

Once the black coating is gone, the INFI dimples get a chance to do their thing...

Klean-Strip Strip-X Stripper

I bought it at Wal-Mart for $6.

I tried to bursh on the 'paste' but it took a lot of scrubbing to get it off. I soaked the other side and it peeled right off. (30 minutes)

Be aware that under the paint is an unfinished blade. It will not look like one of the shiney polished blades on a double cut finished Busse.
Do an advanced searh on forum titles for COATING and take a look at some results before you strip yours.
I've done it and the results, or in the white finish, vary from blade to blade.

Good point gunscrounger! That being said you can always give the knife a bead blast, satin finish, etc...

I have heard, but have not confirmed, that knives will cut better w/o the coating. Less friction. But I am not sure if the difference is noticable. Cliff could probably answer that.
