A simple work shop knife I just made

I just made this out of a worn out 12" mill bastard, 6" overall with a 2" blade.
it only took me about an hour to make.


I decided to go for a saber grind instead of a full flat grind mostly because this seemed quicker, but also because I wanted a more durable edge that will hold up to deburring copper aluminum and brass tubing.
It's still hair shaving sharp though.

I had to contour the handle some more, it was just too wide to be left as a rectangle.

Thanks, I've made a couple knives that came out decent looking but far to many that didn't and were scrapped.

The sheath is finished.
8oz veg tanned, rough side out so the knife can slide in / out easier.

I wet formed it around a wood yard stick to eliminate the need for a welt, and give it a loose fit that the knife can drop in and out of.
