Thanks again for all the help guys. It is barely six months since I was first on here asking y'all to suggest some kind of dummy proof, pull through nonsense. Most of you refused to suggest any such thing and suggested I take the time to learn to sharpen a knife. After swallowing my pride a bit I decided to pay attention to the suggestions in here and it's been a really fun trip. I'm no expert today, but I can put a pretty damn good edge on a blade today, whether it's freehand or with the sharpmaker.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who took the time to make suggestions and answer my questions even though they had probably been asked and answered many many times before. Lots of you folks in here are very generous with your time and knowledge. I will try to take a little of what I've been shown and pass it along to the next guy that's trying to learn.

Bless,

Lance

This is my favorite sub forum. IMO, the most informative and definitely the friendliest to those who really want to learn new skills.
