My niece and her husband run a sheep farm and "do" about 400 lambs every year. He asked if I'd make him a good skinner.

He picked the blank that he liked, and asked me to make a couple of modifications to it's shape... something I'd never done, or had any idea how to do... so I just "winged" it.:D

He has an odd grip when he uses a knife so I enlarged the butt of the handle, and created the "odd indentation" in the butt. Not something I'd use, but he loves it.

It actually came out better than I thought it would with the brass extension... (which was cut from a brass hinge:D). The mother of pearl rings were cut from my supply of grandma's old button collection.

Comments and criticisms, welcomed as always.
