It seems this is my week to be tormented by my bladeforums brothers showing me pics of some gorgeous knives that just so aren't mine. :grumpy:

Kidding, of course.

Here is a sweet damascus hunter by Master Smith Steve Dunn. The pattern of the 5" blade is called "Texas Wind" something apparently cooked up by Steve and Dickie Robinson. The fittings have received Steve's excellent engraving and a nice piece of amber stag rounds out the terrific package.

I was just looking over Steve's website tonight, got me a hankering for a damascus partner for my carbon steel piece. This image may just push me over the edge it is simply stunning - Congrats, RAN and Steve!

Stephan Thank You and my advice Do It. As I was discussing With Peter this Pic doesnt do the piece justice(maybe cause its a scan of the image) But there is so much chatoyance and depth to the steel that isnt conveyed..It is an exceptional piece..Really!

Doug
The Pins are 18k the engraving has 24k inlay..
Steve Dunn had 5 amber stag pieces at the show..it made for an incredibly dramatic table..
Thanks for looking!

That is one of the finest looking custom knives I've ever seen and I've seen thousands. Simply terrific. Someone is very fortunate.
