Here is my relatively modest collection of Benchmade knives. I started out in 1996 with the 975S Emerson designed folder and my latest acquisition is the 145 Nimravus with alum scales (Extra-super!!!-nice nylon sheath !!)

The sharpest of the bunch would probably be a toss up between the Rukus and the sand scaled Nimravus combo-edge. I expect the aluminum scaled Nim to sharpen up just as nicely once I need to hone it. The mini-Skirmish is a very nice S30V recurve. It's nice and slim and rides inside my waistband (tip-down brothers!!!) much nicer than the 975S ever did.

The 975S folder is smooth and reliable, but I'd never buy another tanto. The little auto (name escapes me at this moment) is "cute", but too light and flimsy to cut anything heavier than smog. The Snody 210 hangs around my neck and under my shirt every single day.....all day.

To add to this in the future, I'll probably be looking at a 710 and a mini-Rukii for folders, and a Griptilian, Snody's 211 and 220, and maybe.....maybe, a Snody H&K 14150 (I think that's the right number for the Nim-sized H&K fixed in 440C).

Sorry to bombard you with 3 pics in a row! Let's hear about YOUR Benchmade blade collections!

You have some nice ones there. I really like the reflex. I have the mini reflex in my pocket right now.

Thanks,
John

Right now I only have the 710. It might be my favorite folder.

I'm hoping to get a mini ritter because I love the Axis lock and it would be nice to have something 3" just in case I go to the city or something.

Which one of those there is your favorite? If you haven't thought about getting a 710, you seriously should - you would love it. I am actually thinking about getting another one but with a black blade!

The up to date roster is a bit different than this pic (210 & 855 are gone, one of the 330s is on it's way out, added a 555HG) but it's representative of my preferences among Benchmades. I like the older models more than most all of the new ones and I'm a fan of Mel Pardue's designs.

Stretch NM--awesome pics.
Where did you get (and how much was) that leather sheath for the ruckus? Also for some reason, it looks like it was almost reground in the second pic...
Thanks

Thanks for the compliments. I made the sheath...and a poor first attempt at a folder sheath it was too. Too many obvious flaws.

I suspect that the Nimravus appears reground because of the change in angle of lighting. The pics were taken moments apart - I haven't laid that knife to stone yet.

I only own two Benchmade knives but would love to have lots more. My EDC is a Mini-griptillian and the knife I leave in a drawer at work is a Mini Pikka. I love my Mini-grip.

I knew the Rukus was big but I never knew it was such a monster! It's even bigger than the Nimravus.

Anyway, I own 2 Benchmades. A Mini Presidio and a Griptilian

I'm not into big folders, but I bought the Rukus because....well....well, because I had to. See, it was on sale at Sportsman's Warehouse for $125...no tax. What could I do? Huh? What could I do? hehehe

I've even toyed with the idea of making a fixed-blade sheath for it ((( :D )))

I've always wanted to see what the Rukus was like too. Maybe I'll finally get the Mini Rukus one day

I plan on getting a mini-rukus and adding the vinewood scales. That is my dream knife.
Sebenza's just dont apeal to me much, never really liked metal handles.

I like the Presidio. A buddy of mine has the auto, which to me defeats the fun of the Axis lock, but I like the shape, size, and feel of it. Also, I forgot in my original post to include a Griptilian as one of my future Benchmade folder purchases!
