Here is my relatively modest collection of Benchmade knives. I started out in 1996 with the 975S Emerson designed folder and my latest acquisition is the 145 Nimravus with alum scales (Extra-super!!!-nice nylon sheath !!)
The sharpest of the bunch would probably be a toss up between the Rukus and the sand scaled Nimravus combo-edge. I expect the aluminum scaled Nim to sharpen up just as nicely once I need to hone it. The mini-Skirmish is a very nice S30V recurve. It's nice and slim and rides inside my waistband (tip-down brothers!!!) much nicer than the 975S ever did.
The 975S folder is smooth and reliable, but I'd never buy another tanto. The little auto (name escapes me at this moment) is "cute", but too light and flimsy to cut anything heavier than smog. The Snody 210 hangs around my neck and under my shirt every single day.....all day.
To add to this in the future, I'll probably be looking at a 710 and a mini-Rukii for folders, and a Griptilian, Snody's 211 and 220, and maybe.....maybe, a Snody H&K 14150 (I think that's the right number for the Nim-sized H&K fixed in 440C).
Sorry to bombard you with 3 pics in a row! Let's hear about YOUR Benchmade blade collections!
