I'm interested in a small fixed blade stainless knife for a friend. He works around saltwater. I would like to keep the price sub 100$ so 40-70$ is range I would be most interested in. I'm looking at the stainless izula but that hasn't hit the market yet from what i've seen... anyone know of something similar? My friend has recently gotten into knives, so something quality with style and flair is a bonus. Thanks!

I could make you a full custom within your price range.

If he works on a boat he should get a 'Little Vicky' Victorinox Deck knife. They're purpose built for working with line.
If he knows how to sharpen, then a Mora would be great too.
If he just wants something a little bit fancy then there are many many options.
Boker, Cold Steel, Benchmade, Kershaw, Spyderco etc. They all make good serviceable knives.

Something to Consider. I've spent most of my adult life working in, on, and around commercial fishing vessels and have yet to have a problem with rust on any of my knives. So Stainless may not need to be as big a consideration as you all think.
