A small modification to turn a horizontal (Dozier) sheath into a vertical sheath.

I love Dozier knives and their sheaths are top notch however I don't love the horizontal carry that half of them are set up for. I made a simple loop of leather (0.060" or 1.5mm thick) sized to fit snugly around the horizontal carry clip that allows the belt to now fit either horizontal OR vertical. The loop is 1.75" x 4.5" and sewn double stitch to make a loop. The knife carries like a dream vertically and the tight leather keeps it in place but allows much easier on/off than the original kydex clip did (it tore my expensive gun belts up).
