A small note on those Kabar patches....

Get some sort of super-tacky industrial velcro if you want to make it a velcro patch. I went to super glue some velcro on the back of mine like I always do, and the patch soaked it right through to the other side and ruined the front. Suckballs. Learn from my mistakes. It doesn't have much of a plastic backing.

Beckerhead patches were velcro, BKT/KABAR patches were non velcro.

Yeah, I've just used the velcro tape on patches that don't have it. Works fine.

vulcanized rubber works for most things... its a miracle substance. That, wd-40, and duck tape. Few things that can't be solved with one of those three items.
