Bill Martino has a post in the HI forum about drawing/resheathing a khukri. The technique shown is valuable to those who are thinking or have a barong, Moro kris, or bolo or any old knife/long knife/sword with a leather or two piece vine bound sheath.
I almost learned the hard way this year with a kris and a barong. The kris would've made things worse by adding two more scars to my left hand/arm.
