a small skinner for a friend here in town

here is a knife i made for a friend here in town. overall its 8" with a 3 3/4" blade and its 1 7/8 from spine to edge. the blade is a chisel grind and wickedly scarry sharp. the steel is 1075. i had chuck geyer make the sheath and he done a fine job. the sheath holds the knife tightly in place.

its neoprene. i guess i should have mentioned that in my first post. i'm making another one similar but with some wild looking maple scales.

Neoprene. Very interesting. Probably great for clean-up on a skinner.:thumbup:

its great for a handle since getting it wet seems to make it grippier.
