A Smaller MUDD?

Does anyone else think ZT should produce a smaller MUDD? Something more on the lines of the original. Maybe as small as a 2.5" blade.

I think a MUDD with its sealed bearings would be ideal for dirty tasks like caving, but the original is just too big to work most of the time. The crawls and squeezes (through water and mud) can be very tight and a larger knife would get in the way.

I'm currently using a Delica because it's small and thin, but I have to take it down and wash it out after each use.

I know that the customs are smaller, but I'd have a hard time using one really hard (let alone affording one in the first place).

totally agree. I would love a smaller mudd with slightly smoother scales. And I'll need a bigger one anyway. I handled one in the passaround an it is seriously amazing

i wonder if there's a way of compacting the MUDD's pivot to fit on a RAM? :)

the price point would go way up though. you would have to recalibrate alot of stuff in the factory because of the size dif alone. it could be done sure, but the effort would take alot more than might be worth it.

i do agree with you though as the thought has crossed my mind before

Id be interested in a larger RAM but one smaller than the MUDD...the MUDD is too large, the Ram is about 15% too small.
