Probably hard to date this item. It belonged to two brothers who were born in the late 1890s, one died in 1967 and the other in 1985. Anyone have an educated guess about it?:
I can't say anything definitively but all recent pickaroons I've seen including Snow & Nealeys have had a deeper eye than that.
The swell appears to have a factory flat which suggests that it was pneumatically seated. That probably means post WWII. I'd guess it was made in the 40s or 50s.
