Well she's all done. Pictures of finished knife and sheath below. She has been shipped, received and is in country by now. I can't wait until he gets back; to see him safe and sound. And I'll be courious to hear how the Model 9 was put to use. Thank you all for looking.

Here's one that I am making for a guy headed to the Middle East soon. It's about 95% complete. This is my PaleHorse Fighters Model 9.

Blade is 5.0" (12.7cm) x 0.25" (6.35mm) S30V. Hardened by the good people at Peters Heat Treating Svc to HRC 58 - 59. Overall length is 10.2" (25.9cm). The indention at the handle end of the edge is a wire stripper.
It's got black canvas Micarta handle scales (which I have to subdue, as I polished them checking for scratches) and Loveless bolts with a stainless thong hole tube. She'll be carried in a MPMT tm Kydex sheath that I am about to start on. Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
Paul

Paul,
What a fantastic knife.
I like how you have thought of the essentials needed, as a lot of the frontline knifes for me were too cluttered.
like the wire stripper.
wish i had one like this out on OP's.
