recently received an email from a Soldier that is currently carrying/using some of our knives in Afghanistan. He has 3 of our knives and I believe he has all of them with him (CT, HR and Pauls Ratchet)
He emailed me yesterday and I've received his permission to post some excerpts of his email.
It follows, he is referring to his CT here. (BTW I love the PS )
" It gets used a lot, but mostly to cut 550 cord, open MREs, and break open the occasional box. Looking at it, it's a whole lot uglier than it was a few months ago, but 'war scars' are good for bragging rights. For that matter, if all goes well, the ONLY scars I'll have
to brag about will be the knife's!
P.S. A couple of weeks ago my CT was used to chop through a locked door. Thought you'd like to know I was through it before heavier tools
had a chance to arrive."
I'm glad he is getting some use from the CT and wish him the best.
Remember to keep all these guys and gals in your prayers, he mentioned he is most likely headed somewhere else "hot" next
And most of all Thank you for your service.
