I have been thinking lately how to test a certain knife, steel, blade shape or handle. I have come to some conclusion, that my teenager would be better at testing it than I. For instance he would use it for digging, prying, cutting who knows what and all around almost abuse. This solves my problem because he would use it for things I would not. I gave him a razor sharp CS Voyager and what do you know he asked me to sharpen it a week later. When I went to sharpened it, it was gouged, nicked and rolled all along the edge. I asked what have you been doing with it? His answer nothing just using it. Of course later I found out what he'd been doing. I had numerous tin cans sliced and diced, trees skinned, bows and arrows cut from said trees. You name it he did it. To my surprise the Voyager took it and re-sharpened faily easy with little or no alteration of blade shape. The Handle was in good shape and the only "play" int the knife was a slight vertical play. I was impressed. So what do you guys think? Thanks.
