I had a customer ask for a second El Camino, but he wanted it to be special and different from the standard model. Here's what I came up with.

I rounded the spine, modified the handle, made a three piece guard, and added an escutcheon. The guard is stainless/copper/stainless, this pins are mosaic in stainless and copper, the escutcheon is stainless steel, and the handle is premium grade Ring Gidgee.

I've done one other escutcheon, and it's a pain. Many thanks to Jerry Fisk for helping me do this one. The stainless escutcheons seem to be a little tougher to work than the nickel silver ones.

Well all those little changes sure came together nicely - that's a gorgeous little knife (and a particularly nice piece of gidgee).

Cheers,

Very nice looking little knife, your effort was not in vein
it turned out to be a nice looking package.Your knives have a great fit and finish to them,I got to handle one in person,I was very impressed
:)

So, has your customer gotten the knife yet? If so, I'd be willing to bet that he liked it a whole lot. I know I would.

Sometimes nice things come in little packages. This is one of those times. :)

That is one awesome little blade.

I really like these smallish/concealment Bowies that are becoming so popular.
