Here's a set of knives I did for a customer. He told me all that he had from his father who passed away was some pieces of wood and photos. He commissioned me to make a a knife for each of his sons from the wood. The handles are cut from the same block of amboyna burl...one cut to show the burl the other cut to show the curl. Dad carved the first initial of each son on the sheaths. The blades are based on my Bodyguard with the inlet guard based on the Eclipse fighters. They were delivered in time for Christmas;)

Excellent use of one block of wood to show two different grain patterns. I bet the owners will be ecstatic!

Very special indeed - beautiful set that will no doubt be passed on by the recipients for generations.

Congratulations to the Father, the Owners and you for do such a superb job. :)
