Hello Everyone,

I've been kind of absent the past couple of weeks with work, and have a lot of catching up on threads to do. I got home tonight after a couple days out of town, and a very happy surprise was in the mailbox.

A note from our friend Primble, and new clothes for my Charlows!!

A couple weeks ago, Primble had mentioned something special was on it's way to me, and boy was he right! He had asked Barry to make a couple more of the TC pocket slips, and said one was for me. This is a great little slip, and another example of the generosity of this forum! I will cherish this gift, and my small Charlow collection will enjoy going out on the town in their new duds.

Thank you very much Primble! And excellent work Barry. I could not be happier.

It sure is; those slips Barry makes are so impressive! Nicely done, Primble

(And Crazy Canuck, as long as I'm in your thread, I want to thank you for suggesting several weeks ago to avoid the Quick Reply button; I haven't had even one double post since following your advice.)

Great lookin slip:thumbup: Primble....there you go again being that fine southern gentleman again:D

Seriously a very very nice gesture;)

Primble my friend, at first glance I thought you had made the pocket slip with the tools Esynx gave you. But on second glance, I realized it was done by a proffesional named Barry.

LOL. Very nice gesture Primble. :)

Good on you Primble. By the way, have you finished your pocket slip?

Thank you Mark - it would be difficult to match the skill of others on this forum, when it comes to leather work - however - I plan to try my hand at it after the cold winds keep me inside for the winter. :)

Thank you Jennifer - I have not even started one - but - stay tuned this winter for my first try.:o:)

No Jennifer, Barry will take care of it for him..........he still doesn't know how to tie his shoes. :D

I would guess it would just be a lot easier to get Barry or Evan to do it. I think it might be fun to give it a try. Evan, another fine leather artist, has offered his assistance. :p

Mike - I am happy to see the slip made it to you and that you like it. Thank you again for the platinum membership here on Blade Forums - that was so kind of you!;)

Greatness cannot be hurried.

Indeed. :thumbup::)

Evan has no idea of what he got himself into when he volunteered to be my leather crafting coach.:eek::D

and Jennifer has some experience, just in case. It is nice to have friends. :D

Great stuff Primble, and Barry has done an excellent job again :)

That's a nice set of pants, there!

Canuck - good on you! You obviously deserved it if our good mate Primble sent it to you.

Great work Barry!!
Primble mate, yet ANOTHER generous kind thought by you! You are a great guy mate, thank you for hanging out with us my friend!
