Here is a special order UBE for forumite Finnean. It is 21.5 inches long and 3.5 pounds. Made by Sanu and another 10/10 effort. BIG handle with HI habaki style bolster. Great job by Sanu. I especially liked the UBE karda and chakma, made just like the big blade only scaled down and excellently done.

But what interested me most is the scabbard. The sarki with no name couldn't get a scabbard fit to this blade unless he made it substantially oversize so he took a different tack. He hinged the scabbard and has a frog that snaps and two keeper straps with snaps to hold the two piece scabbard together. A quick draw rig it ain't but it is excellently done. And, notice the red velvet lining! He is getting fancier all the time.

The rig is flying today and congratulations, Tim, I think you are going to be happy with this one.
