I have been home sick with a terrible cold for the past few days. Out of total boredom (and after watching “Gangs of New York”) I decided to make this monster. It’s an old school spiked club. I made it out of a little old bat that I picked up at a swap met and a bunch of rusty nails that were in my tool box. I think I’m going to name this one Rebecca (my ex girlfriend, she was a real nightmare).

That is pretty cool. Something to keep beside the bed.

If you get more "down" time, you should do some custom file work to sharpen up those nails. :)
 
Nasty. I like the grip work, looks effective.

I got in trouble as a kid for making a couple of these. After hammering in the nails I ground the heads sharp with a grinder.

Yea I will get does suckers sharp latter on. I think I’m going to hang it over door to my front porch, to welcome unwanted visitors.

Another mean club you have there. I think we need a war club thread. I've collecting some candidates during my excursions into the mountains:

Hey if that drug job ever falls through I'm sure you'd have good luck designing weapons for Zombie video games. :D
 
The cut-outs on the handle is amazing for choke up/ easier control.

Et. How do you manage to get the biggest nail hammered on top? i meant knocking straight on the pointy side?

And yes, please get well soon buddy. Starting to miss out the zombie finger and weapon display.
 
I have made similar clubs. Once I took an axe handle, and used a 12 inch spike (giant round nail). It was nasty!

Do you really want such a nasty weapon placed as a welcoming gift to an intruder?
 
I will give him confidence, before i take his head with my Mossberg 500. :D (its tyed to a post with wire ;) )
