Hi all,

Yesterday I received my "Mini Explorer", made by Filip De Coene based on a drawing by Antoine Van Loocke. I immediately loved the original Explorer which looks similar but which is bigger, and therefore I preferred this more EDC-able variant. I love the the clean lines of this design. Suffice to say that its bigger brother is on display in a design museum, and not many knives can claim that !
Here is some eye candy. The carbon fiber (originating from a F22 jet fighter plane) has a mysterious shine in real life that doesn't translate well to pictures, but you get the idea.

The timeless design makes reference to prehistoric flint knives:

If you are interested to know more: I immediately made a video review about it with more background info, it's clip 78 in my review list or HERE is the direct link.

Very cool knife and concept.

Not my cup of tea, as I like more complicated designs and larger sizes, but it looks like it would be a great in-pocket edc.

That scale is just beautiful, wish I had one to play with.

In the real it's quite different from the photos, there is a special kind of "shimmer" on the surface when you turn the nicely polished handle around. This luxurious effect is somewhat apparent in the linked video.
