A Spyderco/Ed Schempp Khukri?

Supposedly Bark River plans to come out with one also, and Nasty is somehow working with Mike Stewart on the Design.

Given Bark Rivers incredible convex edge they put on stuff if it is a decent thickness this will be the one to buy!

Here's some of my Bark River knives.

Ed showed me his folding kukri last year at Blade. It's not a chopper, it's an interestingly shaped pocket knife.

LMAO, Howard....funniest thing I've heard all week. :D  :p

Hopefully Spyderco & Ed Schempp will throw a bone to us purists on this one...at least it's not being made of 440C....:(

I've seen the prototypes, it's a folding knife with a khukuri-like blade. Cuts with a lot of pressure, but wont be good for chopping. The Ed Schemp camp knife has some khukuri aspects to it though :)

I was confusing the camp knife fixed blade discussion with the khukri discussion. But the question of where to put the Spyderhole on the camp knife still applies. Poppa Spyder (Sal Glesser) has said that he will be putting the Spyderhole on all Spyderco knives from now on as a trademark, I guess.

top side of the blade, close to the handle. this gives you the opportunity to tie a lanyard to it that will keep the blade secure in your hand even while chopping. no big secret, the small perrin proto has the hole there as well. Link to the Perrin Prototype
