Also made by Hossein, dedicáted to Amu Bill since I guess that he does not go to the Islamic Swordforum. So I bring the pics here as promised!

The blade is oiled sorry for not wiping it off before taking pics.

Now, that's a knife. I like this one better than the brone one. You're a lucky guy, Man. I don't think I could go to Iran (or rather get back out alive) and get one of those. I'm tempted to try...

I was also afraid a bit! The calligraphy is very beautiful as well, excellent letters. Maybe next time I can get one for you as well. I should have wiped the oil off before taking pics. This blade is a masterwork my friend. :)

sounds good! I like the multiple fullerinng on those blades. Are they sharp on the edges, I mean knife-sharp or sword-sharp?

You say you were afraid a bit, but you speak the language (you must know 3+ languages), and come from there. probably helps a lot for getting around and such.

Thanks for sharing. How much did those set you back? rough Estimate is cool, if you'd rather not say, that is also okay.

I also speak and write fluent Spanish Keith. My command of French is also not bad. I have lived and studied and woked in 5 different countries. So no big deal in speaking different languages, everyone could do this.

The edges are sharp on both side, very sharp, you can do extreme test cutting with this piece, in spite of looking like a piece of art. Persian blades tend to be very sharp.

but not much call for it since the University. Spanish speaking population seems to be going up inn the US, so maybe some day.

Great knife. You haven't mentioned it, but that looks like a newly made knife? Was this something you had made to order, or was it sold over the counter?

Yes it is newly made by Hossein. I had many interviews with him and he is still alive. This is a custom order based on a historical qamme from the Qajar period in a museum, all aspects original. Hossein takes only custom orders and nothing is sold over the counter besides some knives.
