Here is a knife i just finished. The handle is stabilised valnut. OAL is 175 mm blade legnth is 170 mm and 40 mm wide.

Yes its made from 6 mm 5160. Its realy big and sturdy, but yet nice balanced.

It looks a bit like a vastly upgraded pugio. If I needed a true combat knife I would want something very similar. By the way, where in Sweeden are you from? I lived in Denmark for a couple of years, but never made it across the baltic. My nephew just got back from the world scout jamboree, which was held in Rinkaby, I was jealous, men saadan er livet.

I am living in "county" or area cold Östergötland maybe 10-15 miles from the eastcost, quite near the capitol Stockholm were Rinkeby is .

Yes we have pretty much scoutes here, our king is a "protector" for it. Oh you speak some Swedish, i am impressed

Pugio's were Roman combat knives, basically what they would go to if their gladius failed. I don't really know Sweedish, but it is similar to Danish which I used to be somewhat proficcient in... I haven't had to use it very much since moving back to America.
