A stickied "barter thread" ?

Would this violate forums rules?

I was just thinking that as many of us that have picked up heads that we are not crazy about or changed direction on and would be willing to trade for another head... maybe this would help?

Not a sale or dollar value thread. Just like an aggie swap deal.

example,
"I have a Plumb Baltimore to trade for a XXXXXXX."

Not much activity in the regular exchange area for axes or hatchets aside from newish GB or Wetterlings.

All sales/trades/want to buy threads must be posted in the exchange. Not in discussion forums.
 
:) I went and trimmed up a Maple for a widow at church yesterday and she asked if I could look through her husbands sheds and give her ideas on values of a few things she can use to barter for work she is having done.

While looking through, I pulled out and old unmarked carpenters hatchet, a True Temper Jet Rocket half hatchet and a beautiful old scythe- I tried for 20 minutes to buy them but she refused and asked me to just take them to keep them out of her young sons hands. She is a friend of my wife's and my wife just rolled her eyes jokingly at "2 more axes and one of those grim reaper things..." LOL

I may get back there and try to take many things to a consignment shop for her. He was an electrician and welder and I spent an hour just looking at things I did not recognize. Some hammer I suspect were made by him.
