This knife i recently finished has a four-bar-torsion damascus blade. The upper three bars are firecracker damascus torsioned left/right/left and the bar for the cutting edge is a simple 20-layer torsion damascus. Steels are O-2, 15N20 and 1.2767 (as nickel steel for the cutting edge).

The guard is sculpted in bronze with a spacer from sterling silver behind it. The handle is old sambar stag and ends in a butt cap made from firecracker mosaic damascus. The fine leather sheath is not made by me but by my good friend Alessio Salsi, an excellent knifemaker from Belgium.

That is so nice it just leaves you wanting one. Just blows me away awesome :)

Does the knife maker have a website?

Beautiful work! How long is the blade???

If it's over 8"s, I'd say it looks a lot like a more traditional tanto than a camp knife! And too beautiful to use chopping work or clearing brush!!! :D But perfect tucked into a sash for dressy occasions... if one could... :(

joeshredd, the blade is nearly 11 inches.

Dang, change the handle a little with more of an oriental influence and you've got one heck of a nice looking European version of a traditional tanto!

And some really nice looking stuff on your site, too!!

Keith, if you are talking about the recurve bowie in the middle of this pic, you're right. The blade is nearly 15" long. :D
