A sub-hilt FOLDER??

Today I saw quite an interesting construction. This was a folding knife (without any 1-hand opening options), but with a handle which had full-sized metal hilt and sub-hilt. The one I saw was some cheap POS, yet AFAIK sometimes they clone more serious makers. So does anyone know a manufacturer or maker who makes such folders? Not going to buy one, just curious...

I saw a custom one once by a very famous maker.
I'm pretty sure it was well over $1000.....
Sorry, I can't remember much more than that.

Trace Rinaldi has made one that has a very pronounced fingergrove that you could call a sub-hilt:

I'm reminded of some of the lightfoot designs, specifically the "maurader." I held one once at tadgear and immediately wished I had a few hundred bucks to spend...

Thanks, Midget! Somewhy I've been thinking about Lightfoot's knifes these days.
Yet the one I saw looks closer to RL's photo. Lagre two-side front hilt and subhilt. Something like CS Black Bear classics
