You never know the talent that lurks on these forums. My buddy, great craftsman, and forum member, Gull Wing made me two pocket clips for my Sebenza 25. Both clips deal with the issue that some people, including me, have with the placement of the 25 pocket clip such that the tip of the standard CRK clip pokes your finger where it is forced into the second finger groove/choil of the 25. That issue has already been discussed and debated at length on this forum, with all sorts of opinions on both sides, so I am not going to bother describing the issue in any detail here. I feel somewhat vindicated in my opinion, in that when the 25 became the Inkosi, one of the first and major changes Chris Reeve made was to rearrange the clip.
So on to the goods! With Gull-wing's "25 Offset Clip" (pictured below) I could essentially turn my Sebenza 25 into an Inkosi, and trial-run the new clip placement. After a couple of weeks of carry, its a no-brainer. Clip works great, and feels good in hand. The Gull Wing clip is actually cut with the offset, there is no undue force, bending, torquing, or any other funny business about the clip. It has the same bead-blast as the slabs, and looks great IMHO. I little simpler in design than the CRK clip, but graceful. Below are some pics to share. I can honestly say, based on this couple weeks of carry, that I will have no issue with the new clip angle if and when I am lucky enough to pick up a Large Inkosi.
News: Today this clip is being removed and replaced with the another clip solution I am also super stoked about! The Gull Wing "25 Shorty Clip". I may have saved the best of the two designs for last, but time will tell. I will post my thoughts about the shorty clip, and pics, on the forum after a couple weeks of carry with that solution. One thing I know for certain: the standard CRK clip is never going back on my 25. Thanks Gull Wing!
(sorry about the thumb-print on the blade! I know it's gonna bug some
