The copperhead. The main blade is amazing to me. The shape, the upswept tip, and the polished edge. Also the pen blade is just awesome. Nice and small and super sharp for detailed work. And the overall size, just fits my hand like a glove. The one I have is of course, CV, so a great edge it has. Overall I am extremely impressed by this pattern. It has taken place as my second favorite, dethroning the trapper.

The blade selection in my opinion is better than a trapper too. The pen over the spey blade anytime for me. More control with it and more minute control. I don't need 2 blades of the same size...usually. Anyway, next to the stockman this is my new favorite pattern. I see more of these in my future.

I have a Case SFO copperhead in CV. I really like it.

I bought a Steel Warrior brand, on a whim, and fell in love with that pattern. The one I have feels great, and is the perfect carry size. I really like the upswept pivot bolster.

thx - cpr

I too prefer the Copperhead over the trapper...
Heres one that I've had for a few years.

I have a Queen Copperhead in Amber Carved Stag Bone. With only one blade, it's very thin and light in my pocket. The blade itself is stout, but I thinned the D2 steel down to just a degree or two above 10 degrees per side, and used my Sharpmaker to add a 15 degree per side microbevel. The edge just seems to melt anything it contacts. Definitely one of my quieter cutters, it just seems to whisper through cardboard.
