Wow, I'm tickled pink as I sit here admiring a wonderful and generous gift from one of our members here - "fot0". In the past several weeks we've exchanged countless emails and texts on a variety of topics including traditional pocket knives of course, becoming friends in the process. Jason is a new convert from moderns. He's been very enthusiastic about traditional pocket knives and has really been enjoying our little corner of the Forum here. This morning I was stunned to find a surprise in the mail - a CV Peanut in chestnut bone! Now he was aware by now that I have a fascination with the mighty Peanut (you guys are probably all getting sick of seeing it by now? lol), but little did he know that chestnut bone happens to be my favorite color in the Case knife line-up. All I can say is I'm thrilled to have this little gem! I've put it right to work, slaying envelopes and mail and going right into my pocket.

Thank you Jason!

The fondling will now begin... :)

Gotta love those peanuts!

What a fantastic gesture.

Here are mine...

The Peanut is a perfect size for so many jobs a pocket knife is used for. Congrats on that.

I am pleased you like it, and hope it gives you years of worry free pocket time.

Great gesture!

Those 'nuts get under your skin, and it's hard to leave them home once you get used to them. Small wonders!

Congrats! That is really a looker. Im a somewhat recent peanut fan myself. I thought for a long time that the peanut was too small but thanks to Carl and all his peanutisms it gets a lot more pocket time than I ever thought it would. I've got a yeller right now and will probably have to pick one of those up in chestnut as well. Case does a great job with those in chestnut bone. Nice!!!!

Great gesture. I've got a Chestnut and a Yeller Peanut. I find that I can carry the delrin when my other knife is bone.... and carry the chestnut peanut when the other knife is delrin or alox. ;)

Awesome gesture Jason! Thought I had my first peanut but it came in the mail cracked. Fate worked out though. I found a chestnut appaloosa peanut that is calling me. Anyways, it is threads like this that make this forum what it is. Thanks for sharing.
