A survivorman show that makes me wish I had a TV

Isn't Les hosting one of those Shark shows now on Discovery?
 
One pretty interesting video that Les has is a little documentary of him building his house "off the grid". Lasts about an hour as I recall. Its floating around out there on the internet somewhere. Worth a watch.

Season 3 of Survivorman is out on dvd, btw.
 
Les Shroud's show is OK, some good scenery and keeps me occupied. The episode where he is in the African grasslands and a storm is rolling in, the first thing he thought about was shelter. This blew my mind and he lost some major smart points from me, when he could have been building rain catches for clean water. He's a sucker for suffering, which I give him credit for, but he's done some stupid stuff on that show.
 
AMEN to that. He must be the worst provider of food on the planet. I believe he could starve in a super market.:confused:
