NICE...i've been wanting one of those too! As well as a 315 from that timeframe.

Thanks Peter, the 317s seem hard to find with a nice Blade... I could never find one that was nice... But I4Bucks had one that he didn't need... And Boy am I glad... Now to find one in the box... :eek: ... ITE
 
ITE I went for a long time not finding any, then in one week found three of them, go figure. I am down to my last one that is original, but I have one that has wood slabs on it, Joe would have to remind me what type of wood they are. HL
 
Well I'm afraid someone would first have to remind me what wood was used on your 317. As some of you can attest, my memory is horrible. :o
 
Dang,thats as nice as they come!Thats what my dad carried most of the time,he never used a 110,always a 317 ,and it did some skinning and feild dressing back then.One of the classics in my opinion!

ITE, Glad your happy . What did you swap him for the 317 ? What number did the sheath, that came with it, have stamped on the back ? DM
 
Well I can't tell you David or anyone... If I did I'll have to, well you know the rest... Sorry... Nothing Personal, we just both agree not to say anything... It's just really something between HL and me... I had something he wanted I didn't have a 317... We are both happy... ITE ... :thumbup:
