Good Day,

I built a sheath for a Swick, to demonstrate how I would build one these days...

The holes and rivets along the bottom are at 1/2 inch intervals, so that you can bolt any of the normal Blade-Tech attachments on, or the Spyderco G-clip.

Nice work on the sheath! I just called the Spyderco store, they told me the entire Swick run is gone, alas.

Really? That sucks, I was holding out hope of getting another one... Oh well, they will pop up on the secondary market.

Haven't seen much of you these days, how you been?

Great, thanks... I've had a few years of diminished interest in knives, just too many other new things popping up (been very dedicated to my strength and conditioning program, and throwing all my energies into it, for example). But find myself drawn back to knives again, so I'm trolling the forums trying to catch back up. There's a whole batch of interesting new steels I have to get my hands on, now.

Good to see you around. Brings back the memories. I had to step away for awhile too, get my head clear, all that stuff. But, I have been back a bit now, and really diggin' it, what with my new perspective on things. Got in the game a bit more.

Speaking of steel, you kept up with the Spyderco Mule Team Knives?

Marion

I have one of the mule team knives, I plan to watch for the next release ... checking out your links for options for scales etc

That looks well done Marion. I carry one very similar to that, even OD green like the pictured one is. I attached a G clip and clip it to my front pocket like I would a folder. Very convenient to retrieve and re-sheath.

Thank you. A pocket sheath is a good option, what sort of clip do you use?
