Hi,
Just hoping that somebody who maybe handled the A.T.R. on the Blade Show or the Spyderco crew themself can tell me if the A.T.R. has bronze (or something alike) washers (like the CRK Sebenza/Benchmade (mini) Griptilian).
And if it uses a bushing like the Sebenza?
...And, can it be 'user' disassembled/assembled for cleaning?

I know these are a lot of questions, but I guess it will be several months after it comes out before I will get to handle one here in Holland...

Thanks,
Ted

Since the handles are titanium I'm pretty sure they can be disassembled. I was under the impression that all non-FRN Spyderco's could be. Maybe someone here can confirm that?

I'm curious as to wether it has bronze washers as well.

Spyderco does not build knives meant to be disassembled by the user, although many of us do take them apart. I believe that liner locks (compression and walker) can be fully disassembled, but I do not believe it is true of lockbacks irrespective of the handle material.

The spring in a lockback can shift and affect the security of the lock. There's a good reason why Spyderco make them with rivets. I have a Chinook that has G10 scales and the only screw it has is the pivot screw. All the others are rivets.
