This is a Bowie make by South Texas knifemaker Terry Urdal

Nice Jim.., as mentioned.., I do like that pommel..., and also the longish "clip" profile. What are the specs on that knife anyway (if you have time)....

The pommel is a brass button. The blade is 440c and balance is right behind the guard. the handle is leather with multiple brass spacers. The blade is 6" long.

Here's another look at it on leather.

One interesting thing is that the handle is oval, not round and has a slight palm swell. I'll try to get a photo showing that.
