Hey guys-

I've been supporting Daniel since I joined Bladeforums.com in Jan. 2011. It just so happens he joined about the same week as I did, and I happened to purchase his first knife for sale. YES!

I like supporting new makers that show potential. Be it a new style, great package/pricing, or just straight up good craftsmanship. Daniel started off with his mid-sized chopper for a great price offering a sweet design and sole authorship (something else I enjoy supporting.).

Since his first knife, I've purchased a few more of his knives. Honest they are getting better and better. His grinds are showing improvement (not that they were sub-standard to begin with), and his styles are evolving/expanding, showing that he can make a knife of any kind. Best of all, his knives are getting sharper :) I feel a knife should come from the maker razor sharp. ;]

Daniel also goes out of his way to make the customer happy. He will take on just about any design or suggestion you have. He's totally into his craft---he'll go the extra mile to make sure you are getting what you asked for if you have a special request.

Looking forward to new designs and old ones refined... Hope you all enjoy your DFK knives as much as I do and that you show support however you can. This guy means business! Oh and I forgot to mention, he's supah dupah d0pe :D

Cheers mate!

Thanks, that really means a lot to me. Really cool! :D

It means everything to me to make you guys happy, I really appreciate the kindness.

Lol I had to correct that one!:D I think I'm not fully awake yet.

I have a half stuck shift key and it keeps throwing my typing off, I keep making tons of typos. I get a copy of my sent emails and I was cracking up on some of my horrible grammar!

This is why the first custom knife I'm ever going to receive will be from Daniel. I have a few that he's holding on to, that I told him not to send out until the big one is done. It's a symbolic kind of thing I guess, that makes me more attached to it.

You're definitely preaching to the choir here, Sloth. Don't think I'm alone in saying how excited we are to see each new piece of Daniel's work. Each new piece makes me try and get more of his blades in hand (Come on .36 Special!!!!!!!!!!).

Just received my first knife in the mail today from Daniel (Monster Slayer). It will not be my last! Quality, finish, balance and feel all top notch. Mrs crewbot, who is starting to question my addiction, was also thoroughly impressed. Though it may have helped that I also got her a survival bracelet in her favorite baseball team colors. :)

Keep it up Daniel! Can't wait to see the batch of neckers you almost have ready.

crewbot- give us pics in hand or posing with some of it's victims :D

oh and tell the misses, it's "this addiction" or the other hand full that are much nastier =x

I prefer a balance of the addictions :) but MORE KNIVES ARE NEEDED SOON OR >>>>>>... .slag;kjase;o40t :]

She likes Daniels work, so I'm safe for now  I'm going to have to get her her own though...

I'll post pics in the sticky thread after it's first time into the woods in a few weeks.

Hey all, first off I have to state that I don't own a DFK...yet. but he does own one of mine. It was my first knife and without his vocal adoration for it I would have gone in a different direction with this hobby! So props to you, Daniel, you are a first class gentleman! When I get out of my financial slump, you are the first maker I am going to call for a knife/spike combo! I really enjoy seeing your work progress, and new designs come to fruition.

Hey,I got my first from Dan today & I gotta say wow!
It's just the small bushcrafter, but wow what a great knife.
After battoning a few sticks off a bigger piece & drilling & notching & feather making it is still super sharp.
This one's made of 1084fg & Dan seems to have the heat treat down 'cus it's held it's edge through enough work to get a fire going & that's good enough for me.
Rock on Dan,rock on.
