I'd like to thank all the guys that help make this past Hammer-In such a success. This was the best one so far.
My Cacoila was gone by 1:00pm. Had some beans leftover, I guess I should not have told everyone that the meat in it was Blood Pudding. HEHEHEHE!!!

We had allot of one on one teaching of the young Guys.:thumbup:

I had a great ime driving through the entire state of Mass looking for IG early AM. Yea!!!! They all had a good laugh that I put Tandy's addy in my GPS, Woke up early and got THERE(Tandy's) at 8:21.
I wonder how this Happened George???:D
Stabber JR made what will be a nice knife. However I only ruined 6 inches of 1084 But my good frind Jim Siska feels We can actually turn mine into something that just might resemble a knife:p
If not, I'll at least get a screwdriver from it as a great Memory:thumbup:
Pics will be posted. Can't do them off my Laptop, Wifey said there was a PWR serge yesterday and our main Comp screen is dead:(

We all had a great time George! Thanks for putting it together. The experience got us all fired up to make some blades:D I'll have to see if any of my pics came out.

Was I the only person that liked the blood pudding? I should have brought some home:p

The food was great! Ed and I had a great time. Ed talked me into trying the blood pudding and I really liked it. Unfortunately my digestive system thought all that spicy food was too much and we had to drive home with the windows down :(. Props to Aldo for helping us with that new cable and big props for I.G. for putting on a great event. I always feel recharged after being there and inspired to finish up the knives waiting for me on my bench. Thanks!

Don't bother looking for those black rivets, I found them while looking through my leather working tools. :eek:

Another wonderful event. Good friends, good conversation, good learning, good food (even the blood pudding, but wait, my ancestors ate haggis and head cheese:D).

Drove home with the windows open, too.:rolleyes:

Thanks for bringing that up again Dewey:rolleyes: I stayed (for the most part) away from the cutting torch. I did go with Aldo's son Pete to fill up the tanks, but that's probably the only job Im fit to handle on my own. I'll let IG tell you about this years injury. I'll give you a hint: don't stand in front of IG's truck when he's been drinking!! You can take some sollace in the fact that he hasn't gotten any smarter (or better looking) since you saw him last. We all missed you Bud, and hopefully we'll get to see you again sometime soon.
